Super Grande Films and Indie Rights are teaming up to release Everlasting, a crime thriller directed by past FearMaker Anthony Stabley. The film is currently available through Amazon Prime. Everlastingwon the Jury Award for Best Feature at the 17th annual Nevermore Film Festival earlier this year and it was nominated for Best Feature at the Crystal Palace International Film Festival in London.
Everlasting has screened at Panic Fest alongside films such as, Baskin, a Turkish surreal horror film by Can Evrenol; Synchronicity, a science fiction film directed by Jacob Gentry; and Southbound, an anthology horror film that includes segments directed by Radio Silence, Roxanne Benjamin, David Bruckner and Patrick Horvath.
The film follows a high school student (Adam David) as he journeys from Colorado to Los Angeles on his own in order to find the truth behind the murder of his girlfriend. To date, Everlasting has garnered great reviews from media outlets in the United States and the UK.
Ari Drew from Dread Central had this to say, “Stabley’s film ultimately offers quite a bit more substance than first meets the eye – providing a resonant drama and suspense that recalls haunting indie fare, such as The Dead Girl and Brick. More thoughts about the film come from Film Debate’s Katie Young: “There are no easy answers in Everlasting, but it serves as a thought-provoking, stylish and haunting meditation on the underbelly of Tinseltown.”
Everlasting features a veteran supporting cast, which includes, Elisabeth Rohm (American Hustle), Pat Healy (The Innkeepers), Michael Massee (Se7en) Robert LaSardo (Nip/Tuck) and Bai Ling (The Crow).
Writer-Director Anthony Stabley initiated Everlasting in 2011 with the help of producers Shannon Makhanian and Candi Gutierres under the banner of Super Grande Films. “We are truly excited to collaborate with Indie Rights. They are very much in-sync with the evolving online markets. They also understand the importance of social media and the power it has to connect with particular audiences” expressed Stabley.
Everlasting is now available to stream on Amazon Prime.
