One of the things we love here at We Are Indie Horror is watching our Featured FearMakers grow both personally ad professionally. One of the first FearMakers to be featured on our site back in early 2015, Matt Stuertz, is now announcing his world premiere of his latest film, Tonight She Comes, at Grimmfest in Manchester, UK.
After a girl goes missing, two of her friends and a mysterious set of strangers find themselves drawn to the cabin in the woods where she disappeared. They will laugh, they will drink, they will kiss, they will make love, and THEY MUST ALL DIE.
Tonight She Comes was written and directed by Matt Stuertz. He previously directed the feature horror / sci-fi film RWD, created the Sixty Second Slashers anthology series, and directed Mindless, part of Bloody Disgusting’s World of Death horror short film curation.
The film features a pulse pounding synth score composed by Wojciech Golczewski (We Are Still Here, Beyond the Gates, Late Phases) and intense, hard hitting sound design by Shawn Duffy (Darling, Carnage Park). The special festival poster is illustrated by Marie Bergeron.
The cast includes Nathan Eswine, Larissa White, Jenna McDonald, Brock Russell, Cameisha Cotton, Dal Nicole, Adam Hartley, and Frankie Ray.
Along with a premiere announcement, stellar new artwork for the film has surfaced, which gives a vintage slasher vibe, along with a righteous blood river. When has a river of blood ever been a bad thing? There is also a new teaser trailer which looks great, showing off the intensity of the film without giving too much away.
We are ecstatic to see what Stuertz has made since we last were introduced to him last year. He’s arranged an incredibly talented team to make this film a reality, and based on their own individual resumés, Tonight She Comes will be nothing short of spectacular.
Tonight She Comes makes its festival debut on October 9th at Grimmfest in Manchester, UK.
