Last year, friends of We Are Indie Horror, Seraph Films and nVisionate Studios hosted a year end wrap party in Van Nuys, California to commemorate and honor a year full of independent horror filmmaking called Scary Christmas. This year on December 19, Seraph Films and nVisionate are partnering with 3 Cubed Studios and We Are Indie Horror to throw the christmas party that horror fans deserve.
If you are missing Halloween and all the events it allows, this is the party for you! This year Scary Christmas will be bigger and better. Throughout the year, nVisionate Studios has moved from Van Nuys to Burbank. The studio space is now three times as large with numerous new sets. Last year the sets included a hospital bed with a grumpy old grandpa literally on his death bed, an interrogation room filled with monsters, and a jail cell decorated to match. This year the studio space includes all three previously mentioned sets plus new additions like a child’s bedroom plagued with monsters and a home front facade complete with a destruction of Santa Clause. Production designer Wendelyn Slipakoff is the mastermind behind making all these sets into scary visions of Christmas nightmares.
Scary Christmas 2015 will be FREE admission as long as in hand you have the flyer which you can download and print right HERE or download from the photo at the bottom of this editorial. Also drinks and food will be FREE! As last year, the night will consist of an awards ceremony where the hosts will have the opportunity to honor those who have help turn dreams into reality throughout the year. EVERYONE is invited to what is going to be the party of the year. If you are not going to be near Burbank on December 19, do not worry. On We Are Indie Horror’s YouTube channel there will be a live stream from the party. You can join us from the comfort of your own home. You’ll never know who will stop by the computer for a quick conversation with you.
With the addition of the two other companies this year, the party has been able to expand to something huge. Last year Seraph Films and nVisionate fronted all the alcohol and food expenses. In their first year as a haunt production, Drunken Devil hosted an award nominated haunted house with The Sinner’s Soiree. Now that the halloween season is over; the team has agreed to help out and present a welcoming entrance into this party. Be prepared to be scared because it is mandatory.

This whisky powerhouse has jumped on board to help keep the patrons of the party warm and toasty on this chilly December night.

If beer is your drink, sit back and relax with some PBR who are generously donating a hospitable amount to help keep this party going.

New on the whisky scene, independent whisky company Fliquor Bean will be setting up and offering unique coffee infused whisky mix drinks.

This rum company generously is donating along with recipes for mixed drinks that will sure leave you wanting more. The delicious liquor comes in a shrunken head for a nice horror touch.
