Zombie Joe’s 50 Hour Drive-By Theatre Festival Coming in Just A Few Weeks

You’ve heard of the 24 Hour Film Festival, get ready to experience the live theater version as Zombie Joe gets ready to embark on his 16th Annual 50 Hour Drive-By Festival! That’s right, four teams are given just two days to write and prepare a short script before they perform them in front of a live audience! The show will play on January 28, 29, and 30.

Written by Steven W. Alloway, Vanessa Cate, Emily Charouhas & Zombie Joe, and Directed by Denise Devin, Abel Horwitz, Roger K. Weiss & Jana Wimer, with Music by Kevin Van Cott

This will be the first of many fun and exciting shows, experiences, and surprises as Zombi Joe’s Underground celebrates its 25th season. That’s right, Zombie Joe and his theater family of misfits and ghouls have been creating unique, original, and horrifying theater in North Hollywood for a quarter of a century. They have long since become such an integral part of the horror community in Los Angeles, it’s almost hard to think about where else we would go for horror theater outside of October.

There’s no telling what is going to happen at the 50 Hour Drive-By dueto the fact that nothing has yet to be written, but rest assured, by showtime, there will be four horrifying plays ready to entertain and terrify. Tickets tend to go fast, so we recommend you purchase yours today.
