It’s that time of year, where the Halloween decorations make way for green and red tinsel, bright trees, and fat men in large red coats. For horror fans like us, Christmas time can be a rather lackluster affair, with the slight exception of Krampus, there just really isn’t too much out there for us. Lucky for those who live in the Los Angeles area, there are a few events definitely worth checking out that will add fear into the happiest time of year. One of those events is getting ready to open it’s doors this weekend. We are, of course, talking about Zombie Joe’s Blood Alley Christmas
Zombie Joe’s Underground Theatre Group proudly presents their All-New Holiday-Horror-Theater Spectacular in the great Grand Guignol, Theatre of Cruelty and Butoh-Traditions, centering around the memoirs of a forgotten street-alley haunted by the longing, beauty and unspeakable events of its Christmas-past; a cursed place of no mercy, inhabited by a hundred-year accumulation of apparitions, phantasms and sub-breeds that desperately await their next victim! Directed by Zombie Joe and Featuring: Jason Britt, Emily Charouhas, Trevor Fisch, Libertad Hultgren, Makoa Kawabata, Jared Liebenau, Alina Maris, Amanda McKenna, Elif Savas, Kevin Van Cott, Matthew Vorce and Debra Wilson.
Zombie Joe’s Underground is a theater company in North Hollywood that puts on terrifying shows year-round. Back in October, they shocked everyone with their annualUrban Death Tour, The show was an unsettling, horror fueled nightmare, and we can only expect the same great showcase for Blood Alley
The show runs on select nights between December 2nd through December 17th. Tickets are only $15, available at the door or online. Anyone 15 years of age and up are welcome.
