If you are a horror fan (which we feel safe in assuming you are) there is nothing more exhilarating than showing off your favorite horror tastes than by wearing then on your clothes. Whether it’s a Halloween shirt, or an old Giallo film on a sweater, we love to show the world that we love horror. The people at Fright Rags have just released a new line of shirts featuring your favorite horror characters and some bad-ass cars.
Known for their extensive line of horror themed clothing, Fright Rags has just unveiled their newest line in designer artwork, horror icons in hot rods, calling the line Maniac Motors. Last summer saw the first edition in this line, which parodied Ed Roth’s Rat Fink designs using horror icons. The apparel company is revving its engine with a second line of Maniac Motors II, which is currently available on their online store for only $25 per shirt.
Artist Brent Engstrom pays tribute to Halloween (“Boogeyman Buggy”), Hellraiser (“Cenobite Coup”), and Phantasm (“Funeral 4Wheeler”). These three new designs give these classic killers a hot new look, rolling around in their hot rod racers all while holding onto their greatest treasures. Meyers is seen with his knife holding a jack-o-lantern, the Tall Man has his orb, and Pinhead can be seen cruising with his cube looking for his next soul to torture.
Fright Rags has a busy release schedule, with new merchandise for Thevil Dead, Aliens, Rob Zombie, and more coming this summer. It wasn’t too long ago that we covered their new line o Killer Klown shirts, and now these sweet Maniac Motors line is going to quickly turn our closets into a Fright Rags museum.
