The supernatural horror film Lucifer has just wrapped up production. From Anti-Villain Media and director Tiffany Castro, it has just dropped its first trailer (which you can check out below) and a poster for the upcoming feature. Lucifer stars Jessica Morris, Ryan Kelley, and Dave Vescio. Morris is best known for her work on the film, Haunting of the Innocent and Kelley for her work on MTV’s Teen Wolf. The film will also feature Youtube starlets Tay Zonday and Jason Horton.
Lucifer was originally concocted as a short film but due to audience reaction and insistence for more, Director Tiffany Castro set out to expand the short film into a full feature length movie. You might want to check out the short film, titled Lucifer Chapter 1 on the Anti-Villain Media Official Facebook Page or below.
The short is well done. Well paced and acted. The intensity and fear builds to what we like to call a teaser climax. We get some frights but no ending which in turn allows us to be just as excited for the feature as the company is to make it.
The feature film has just ended production, and although there is no public release date as of yet, the filmmakers have entered the film to the American Film Market in Santa Monica, with a release date soon to come.
Here is the official synopsis for Lucifer from the official press release: “A young caretaker believes her family is being tormented by the devil, after she agrees to write the chilling story of a patient haunted, by the relentless demonic being.”
The film looks to be a dark and terrifying foray into the darker aspects of religion. From the trailer, there is an evident aura and atmosphere that is set up and pervades the entirety of the trailer. Lucifer is definitely one to keep on your radar.
Lucifer is directed by Tiffany Castro and written by Brent Trotter and Justin Kornmann
