Seraph Films Releases Teaser To “Shadow Guide”

Gene Blalock of Seraph Films just released the eight minute prologue to his upcoming film The Shadow Guide. The film stars Molly Jackson, Leslie McKeller, Jonathan Erickson Eisley, and Jay Preston. It tells the following story:

To escape her abusive father, twelve year old Alexandria (Jackson) takes refuge with her mother in a remote cabin. When the distraught husband and father finds them, an unspeakable tragedy occurs, setting off a chain of events that brings the young girl face to face with her own grim fate and a mysterious creature known as The Shadow Guide.

The prologue premiered at the Holly Shorts Film Festival last year and received many great reviews. The short is set as a prologue to a feature film that Blalock hopes to get off the ground. It is a big production with a lot of moving parts and a lot of digital work, so it will not be an easy project, but for the Seraph team, it is absolutely doable.

Seraph Films began in 2010 with the hopes of making groundbreaking films that are original, meaningful, and quirky. Their horror short film Visions has appeared on our website several times last year, and The Shadow Guide will definitely be featured as soon as it gets made.

The Shadow Guide will be the first non-documentary feature film for Seraph Films, an idea that Gene has since childhood will soon be a reality.

While it may take a while for this film to come to fruition, there are several other wonderful Seraph films out there to watch. Be sure to follow them on social media.
