‘Wolf House’ Monster Found-Footage Flick Out on DVD Now

A We are Indie Horror favorite, Wild Eye Releasing, has announced the nationwide DVD release of Wolf House, and let me tell you, damn does this look terrifying. Directed by Matt D. Lord, and written by Ken Consentino and Elizabeth Houlihans, Wolf House stars Consentino himself accompanied by the talents of Jessica Bell (not Biel, unfortunately, although I’m sure Bell is just as good) and Marcus Ganci-Rotella. The film has been described as a daring mashup of found footage and monster movies.

The film’s synopsis, from the official press release, reads as follows:

“Six friends on a camping trip think they have discovered, captured and killed Sasquatch. But what they have actually unleashed is something more evil, more ancient and more deadly than they could ever imagine – an army of supernatural terrors that will hunt them until none of them remain.”

The film has already received praise from some outlets, including the very appropriate Found Footage Critic, this is what they had to say, “Tons of fun, and most importantly, has lots and lots of monsters.”

The DVD release of Wolf House is scheduled for January 17th, that’s tomorrow (as of this writing)! It will have a standard retail price of $19.95 and will be available at Walmart stores and on Amazon. The DVD will include an exclusive feature length commentary with director Matt D. Lord, a behind the scenes documentary and a featurette entitled “Making the Monster” (which I assume will illustrate what the title implies) along with the film’s official trailer.
