Check Out Medical Horror Anthology “Patient Seven” New Poster

Back in October, the genre distribution company Terror Films announced principal photography was underway for their untitled horror anthology, now called Patient Seven. The anthology will feature award winning short films, as well as a wrap around story written by Barry Jay Stitch and directed by Danny Draven. The project will entail seven short films directed by  Nicholas Peterson, Paul Davis, Ómar Örn Hauksson, Dean Hewison, Erlingur Ottar Thoroddsen, Joel Morgan, Johannes Persson and Rasmus Wassberg. Cast includes Amy SmartAlfie Allen, and the master character actor Doug Jones. Acclaimed actor Michael Ironside will star in the wrap around story.

Dr. Marcus (Ironside), a renowned psychiatrist, has selected 6 severe mentally ill and dangerous patients from the Spring Valley Mental Hospital, to interview as part of research for his new book. As Dr. Marcus interviews each patient, one by one the horrors they have committed begin to unfold. However, Dr. Marcus soon learns that there is one patient who has been kept from him by the hospital’s administrator, Dr. Vincent.

Patient Seven looks to be a dark and thrilling ride, and seeing as the patients are telling the story, things can go all sorts of different ways. Anthology films have always held a special place in our hearts, especially when thy are done well. Films like Trick ‘R Treat and Creepshow have always and will continue to send chills down the spine, and based on the trailer, Patient Seven can be just as effective.

Patient Seven is currently slated for an ancillary release set sometime this fall. More exact dates will be set soon, including more artwork and maybe even some teaser clips from the film. While we wait for the new imags and clips, feel free to take a gander at the new poster and trailer for the film below, and let us know what you think.
